Non-Linear Sequence: Homunculus
This series focuses on different parts of the human body, as well as different styles of clothing. The concept was to create a caricature of a human figure based on a series of photos. I used myself as the main subject for each of the photos, and I cropped myself out of the photos and overlayed them on top of different environments to create variety for different locations, and add contexts for each photo. I also enlarged or shrunk certain body parts, similar to how caricature artists will draw people (make someone's nose bigger, or hat smaller, etc.). The story displayed is the different contexts of certain situations that people are put into, and how the individual is representing themselves accordingly. Essentially, I aimed to create a character out of various images of myself, and show different sides of myself.
